What is bamboo fabric and why is it good for babies?

Bamboo fabric is a naturally soft, breathable textile made from bamboo plant fibres. It's an excellent choice for babies because it's incredibly gentle on delicate skin, naturally thermoregulating (keeping little ones cool in summer and warm in winter), and moisture-wicking to help prevent irritation. Bamboo is also naturally hypoallergenic, making it ideal for sensitive skin.

Are your pajamas hypoallergenic?

Yes! Our bamboo pajamas are naturally hypoallergenic and free from synthetic irritants. Lora Baby was actually born from founder Andrea's personal experience — her own children have eczema, and she couldn't find sleepwear gentle enough for their sensitive skin. Every piece is designed with that same care in mind. As always, we recommend washing before first wear.

Are your pajamas safe for babies with eczema or sensitive skin?

Absolutely. Our bamboo fabric is soft, breathable, and free from rough seams or synthetic fibres that can aggravate eczema-prone or sensitive skin. Many of our customers specifically choose Lora Baby for this reason. If your little one has a known allergy or skin condition, we recommend consulting your paediatrician as well.

How do I choose the right size?

Do your pajamas run true to size?

Our pajamas are designed to fit true to size with a room to grow. Because bamboo is a natural fiber, we recommend following our care instructions carefully to maintain the fit and softness over time.

How do I care for bamboo pajamas?

To keep your bamboo pajamas soft and long-lasting:

  • Machine wash on a gentle or delicate cycle in cold or warm water (max 30°C / 86°F)
  • Use a mild, baby-safe detergent — avoid bleach or fabric softeners
  • Tumble dry on low heat or lay flat to dry
  • Avoid high heat, which can break down bamboo fibres over time
  • Wash before first wear

With proper care, your Lora Baby pieces will stay beautifully soft wash after wash.

Shipping

Do you ship to the US?

Yes, we ship to the United States! Shipping rates and estimated delivery times will be calculated at checkout. Please note that orders shipped to the US may be subject to customs duties and import fees, which are the responsibility of the customer.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Delivery times vary by location:

  • Canada: 3–7 business days
  • United States: 5–10 business days

You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order has shipped.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We offer free shipping on all Canadian orders over $100 CAD. Orders under $100 CAD will have shipping calculated at checkout.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for items that are unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached. To start a return, please contact us at info@lora-baby.com with your order number.

Can I exchange an item for a different size?

Yes, we're happy to help with size exchanges within the 15-day return window, subject to availability. Please reach out to us and we'll do our best to make it right.

Do you offer gift wrapping?
